I cant stop drinking. I just really like being drunk but my wife hates it and the hangovers are terrible.
I totally get it. I remember feeling that. When I liked being drunk I found later in my life, that it is feeling “good”. That feeling is a lie! But, focusing on my sobriety has not been easy, I will not lie. My husband hates it when I drink and yes, the hangovers are horrible. I hate getting drunk now becuase I have finally stopped believing that alcohol gives me a good time.

It is new impossible to quit drinking until you don't like what it causes more then you like how it feels. You have to see it for what it is before you are willing to do what you have to so that you can quit.
