I didn’t drink Friday or Saturday night…if you knew me, you’d know that’s a very big deal. Praying everyday for one more day sober. 6 days so far with the help of God, AA and this community. Blessed to be making this post. Have a wonderful sober Sunday.

Same! I’m working on today, my day 3. I was even at a bar last night to watch the UNC game with my husband. I didn’t drink and like you…. HUGE deal for me. Glad you are on day 6

Not sure I could go to a bar and not drink yet so I definitely applaud you in that!!!
Congrats on your sober weekend! Bars do get easier. I learned to focus on food and people instead of booze. And though it’s controversial, when out on Happy Hour I sometimes have mocktails. We went to my favorite bar last Friday , and everyone was ordering my all time favorite, grapefruit martinis. I asked for a alcohol free version to not feel too left out. It was even better than the real deal, and I had a great time.
