I didn't drink for about a year and a half. I moved, decided I would a beer at a bar before I went grocery shopping. I drank 24 hours a day for 8 days through the magic of uber eats, vodka of course. Was in the hospital for 7 days. That's what alcohol does to me.
That’s scary stuff James. Thanks for that. I’m about 19 months sober. Alcohol is the real deal.
Don’t touch it again! That’s serious stuff!
Wow!!! Stay strong!!

If you don’t mind, what sent you to the hospital?
1 is too many and a 1,000 is never enough my friend. Stay sober buddy you got this!
I drank a half gallon of vodka everyday and night by myself for 8 days, no food or anything. My legs completely stopped working, not because I was drunk, because I was deficient on all vitamins so the ambulance had to come get me and I was in the ICU for 4 days then in another trauma part of the hospital for the rest of the time. I can still barely walk.
I don't drink for fun, that was along time ago.
I can tell you how I stayed sober for that year and a half if you care to hear it?
Yes I know how you feel, as I have a horrible story as well. We are slowly committing suicide the longer we drink. You don’t think of it that way, sadly.
I'll just tell you this, there was no way I was ever going to get sober because I was uncomfortable in my own skin. Then I did ketamine therapy every week at a doctors office, and I didn't feel the need to check out anymore. But I moved to Chicago in April so I didn't have a new doctor yet, and boom. I was back to it.
How are doing now?
How you holding up?
