I do not take for granted

the fact that sharing my daily gratitudes is a powerful tool. I am grateful for the mindset to approach each day with a grateful heart. I also appreciate that reflecting on my daily thoughts with a grateful heart allows for me to actually see life via a clearer lense and know that sobriety allows this. I am grateful for our front desk ladies being able to recognize when someone needs assistance sooner rather than later and adds that person in where they can. I am grateful for being allowed the opportunity to give a short message of hope to someone who is struggling in the present moment and may be questioning their mere existence on earth. I am grateful for the support I receive from coworkers. I struggle. I still am working through situations that I have very little, if any at all, control over and I sit with constant painful emotions. However, I am sober, and I am grateful every day that I am feeling even if the feeling is pain, I am not running from it and I am not drowning it with alcohol. I am grateful, for today, to have this opportunity to be sober. Just for today, I choose to remain sober. I am grateful for the journey and I am grateful for taking the time to pause and recognize the beauty in sobriety and in daily life.

I am forever grateful for the joy and happiness my two old pups give me on a daily basis. I am grateful for taking time for me. Taking a moment to reflect on the day or a moment to launch the day on a positive note. I am forever grateful for this app.

Could not have said it better! There is so much to be grateful for every day. Even if there are problems to overcome, adding in the drink won’t help! Sobriety is a beautiful thing that keeps giving.
