Yes and Al Anon, too.

Look at this as a positive aspect. Could you imagine a world where everyone around you agreed with you and identified with everything you do? I'd be miserable!! Sometimes being misunderstood is merely a difference of life experiences. As a veteran who served in an era of war, I feel this all the time. It's hard to relate experiences with people who haven't lived what you've lived. When I find this scenario, I focus less on what I can't relate to and focus instead on what commonalities I may have with people. It's a great thing to be unique. It's a great thing to include people in your life with different experiences and it's a great thing to learn new things from others! Channel the frustration into a good thing and you'll embrace this uncomfortable feeling.

Do you have an iPhone? Download meeting guide it’s a logo with a chair. It will show you all the meetings going on all the time. Also just Google 24/7 meetings as well simple as that just make the effort come on now

I don’t know if “come on now” was an invite or a way of chastising me. But I’m literally MAKING the effort. I downloaded this app and many others, and did not know an AA one was available to me. SO YEAH THANKS BUT NO THANKS to the smart remarks

I definitely get like this once a month if anything. My life has drastically changed since being sober. The friends I used to have are no longer there, and the friends I’ve made who understand what I’ve been going through are in other states. All I legit have are my boyfriend and my dog, and though my BF understands to a certain extent, he really… doesn’t (like some men :joy::rofl: JK). So it can get frustrating, but that’s when I usually talk to my mom. We’ve gotten much closer since everything and she allows me to vent when I need to, because she knows that if I keep how I feel inside, it can possibly lead back to drinking.
