Anybody can do this. Everybody says it one day at a time. If you can’t do one day at a time do it one hour at a time. I don’t know what your drug of choice is. But mine was alcohol. I will admit it I miss drinking. But I know if I do I know what it will do to me. It’ll take me places I don’t wanna go anymore. That’s all we have to think about it first. Go to meetings get a sponsor find a home group that you’d like to go to. Speak up see what’s on your mind what you’re having troubles with. There is many people in recovery both NA and AA. I couldn’t believe how many hours there is when I first started. And that was 37 years ago. The only requirement to be here is a desire to stop drinking or using. So you got this and if you do fall get right back up and start over. That’s all we ask. And welcome to the big family recovery.

You can do it! Keep your head up and your eyes on the prize. One day at a time, or if a day seems like too much to think about, just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Jennifer! If you can’t do it, why not let your higher power of your understanding do it? The best part of that is you’ll have reached step 3 in AA! Boom 9 more to go then help others. Repeat on daily basis.
