Abusers are experts at manipulating, making the abused feel as if they cannot function without them.
Just as substances lie and convince us that we need to rely on the poison to function and “ thrive “…meanwhile, these things are killing us.
You wrote about so feeling like another arm of addiction.
If you are able to leave, I hope that you choose to.

I went through the same thing I couldn’t completely stop drug until I got away from my husband since I left him and am going on 4 months clean
