Trust takes time to earn back. At least it did for my family when I got clean.

My experience is that if I put something before my sobriety, I will lose it. If I focus on my sobriety I will be better at the other things in my life: family, friends, work, fitness etc...

It takes time. By your last post you need professional help. They should have referred you to someone. Find 1 you like and get the help you need. You do that and your family will be there. Actions speak volumes. My prayers go out to you and your family. You all need it.:purple_heart::pray:

Have you thought about admitting yourself into rehab, or a treatment program? That’s what it took for me. I got stuck in a cycle of quitting for a few days and relapsing over and over to the point where I was using twice as much as I was before I started thinking about quitting. It wasn’t until heart failure and attempted suicide shortly there after that a hospital nurse started throwing out ideas like rehab and treatment centers for me. Now that I went to rehab and completed a treatment program I’m at almost 6 months! Look into it!
