I drank and used because I had a lot of back pain

My wife was on my back, my kids were on my back, my boss was on my back, bill collectors were on my back. it felt like the weight of the World....so I drank and used. But the more I did, the heavier they got.

TODO: Today I will fix my back. I will connect with someone who like me is trying to stay clean and sober. I agree with the concept that connectedness is the opposite of addiction.

My brother, you got this it can and will be a struggle, but what is life without struggle ...get up and dust your self off and take on the struggle and look it in the eye and fight through it

Same. People can't see our pain or realize that it makes choices for us (or halts us from doing anything at all sometimes). I'm finally addressing my own back pain and am ready for my life to begin again. Prayers sent for you and yours. :sparkles:
