You should go to Walmart. :joy: that always helps Me.

Yea, that would make me feel better. Excellent suggestion.

Is there anything that you need to get of your mind. I’m always willing to listen.

I can relate. It's really hard to pull myself out of it. I get overstimulated too easily. When I force myself to put myself out there, i usually feel worse off. Not sure what to do about it myself.

You’re not alone. Idk how this app really works but if you need someone to talk to, I’m feeling the same way.
Sending love

You are not alone, even around people I often feel out of place...

Granted I hide my issues very well. Many don't know I'm in recovery with 8+ years sober and still fight depression and anxiety.

You can friend people and then discuss issues with them privately.

Finding a good meditation could really help.. maybe look up kundalini meditation on you tube to try a few out!

Elaine & to everyone that feels alone. Isolating is part of my dis-ease. Going to in person anonymous meetings, is where I found people that felt like me and were/are working on the solution. At first I just listened. I tried to go to 90 different meetings in 90 days. Soon I found the meetings & people I liked.
Our disease wants us alone & vulnerable. So it can pick us off! I had to get out of my head and feel better! Isn’t that why we drank? Drinking was great until it stopped working.
I hope this helps🙏

I felt isolated for the longest time, even after getting sober. It’s just a safe place for me but it has been getting better. Just need to get out even if it’s on your own.

By the way I live in Lewisville as well
