I feel lonely and bored and like I don’t know what’s missing. 18 months sober. I want to find my soulmate.

I feel this in my soul. I’m 31 months sober and am still so bored/restless a lot. Like I have so much time now and I don’t know what to do with it.

It happens but you can get thru it. I very highly recommend not getting involved with anyone until you can be truly happy alone. You be surprised what your higher power can do for your life one's you learn to love life even the times your board when your alone or with someone.

I find that volunteering, exercising and getting involved with exercise groups are a healthy way to pass the time. I usher at 4 different venues, so I am always busy. I also walk 6 miles a day and that takes time. What interests you? What volunteer activities are available to you? Can you walk for an hour a day? What needs deep cleaning in your apt or house? If you go to meetings, schedule activities with those folks outside of meeting times. If you devote 20 minutes every day to think and take action on activities, you will have less time on your hands and probably help others. Good luck!

I don’t really know where to start tbh

I’ve been sober over 6 years and I too am looking for my soulmate., it’s not easy out there,, especially now that I don’t drink,,,, but I KNOW my higher power has a plan for me but I just need to be patient and know that maybe it’s not my time yet…..

Everyone's going to be obsessive. So, obsessive over fitness. Confidence that comes with it is life changing. How many times have you met your soul mate but just been 10lbs overweight and slightly unattractive to them. It's a ton of work, but that's what everyone is attracted to. Self control, confidence, and abs.
