I found my NA sponsor!

Just excited about it and sharing the good news. I’m in an IOP program that keeps me accountable with regular drug tests, but that won’t last forever.

I look forward to the accountability and fellowship. The woman I asked shares a similar story as me, and got clean when she was my age. I feel a connection to her and admire her recovery.

I’m going to read the Sponsorship pamphlet today after wrapping up some errands to learn more about this relationship and my responsibilities.

I’m open to insights and advice of course, but mostly wanted to update you all on my journey.

That’s great! Advice? I would say to purchase the NA Basic Text and read it cover-to-cover. Even the personal stories in the back. Maybe highlight the stuff that you relate to. This would sure be a great way to gain an understanding of the program, and any sponsor would admire that prior to beginning Stepwork.

I did an IOP about a year ago & that’s really what got me sober ( the people) they want the same as you, make friends and support each other
