I gave up. I crumbled and failed.
Start over, it’s worth it….
Sobriety is the biggest gift you can give yourself. LITERALLY!!!!!
Dude you didn’t fail…ur figuring it out. You have to sort things out in your head and this is how it goes sometimes. That’s all..
Any time you’re trying & making an effort, that counts as a win in my book.
You’ve got this!
Build a support group. Call someone in your group BEFORE you pick up the next one. Meetings work for me. We just celebrated 5 years clean and sober on the 5th. Keep coming back.
Get back on that horse and try again. You have not failed these things happen. Hopefully, when you try again you'll make it longer this time.
I've been there. Going strong today though, and I know you can too.
I did too, I feel terrrible about Everything
You can do this, Dave!
I’ve been there too many times to count. Today I’m at 165 days. Don’t give up.
“Change takes time and when moving towards recovery people may face obstacles that set them back temporarily (a lapse) or for longer periods of time (a relapse).”
You didn’t fail. You fell off right where you left off. I’ve yet to meet someone in recovery who didn’t fall off their horse.
Here’s the good news - You are sharing your truth with a network of people who care, because you obviously now care about your journey. I can imagine that’s MANY steps ahead of where you were a year before you first quit. So, you’re making major progress my friend. You should be proud of that.
Get up, dust off, get back on the horse, and slap its a$$. You’ve got this
As a 38 year old blow addict, cool
Keep grinding at it brother. It’s that one time that you do get it that pays off. Every try counts!
You know what you need to do
Man I failed a million times. As long as you still want sobriety and you’re still breathing, you’ve got hope.
