I got 2 months sober god knows I’m trying but I don’t now how much longer I can fight
I'm sorry you are struggling. Take it 1 day at time.
It's so hard in the beginning... but you can fight it! It gets easier over time! The thing that keeps me from falling back is I never want to go back to having to have a substance just to feel normal.... when you have cravings of you can get past the first 15 min by doing something distracting it usually helps.... have you looked at a relapse prevention plan? It's helped me alot
You come along way. And trust me you ain't missing out on anything. I admire you for how far you gotten.
You manage to get two months under your belt and that was not an easy, but you did it, just keep on doing it. Say to yourself that I am going to take it a minute, an hour, or a day at times. You can do it, just keep going
It’s one day at a time.
Btw “we stopped fighting everything and everyone”
Thanks I well keep fighting
Great job so far. You shouldn’t have to to fight it though. Get to a meeting irl or on zoom or online. It will help so much!
Just get to bed tonight sober.
You CAN do this....
At step 10. Gotta get through steps 1-9 first though. Do the work
True. “By this time sanity has returned”. However, there’s no fighting, in any of the steps. Step 1 is admitting my powerlessness. I cannot fight something I’m powerless over, I need a power greater than myself to do that for me. I surrender.
this is exactly how I feel
I’m sorry to hear that I am going to AA class tomorrow I don’t know of any today
Sorry i hate this feeling too
Fill out your dãmn profile so people can help you. Where are you from etc etc. We can help you find AA meetings if we know things like location etc.
This goes for everyone reading this. If you want help, real help instead of just internet attention, give us detail of what's going on, where you are located etc etc.
