got baptized for the first time in Oct. 2020 but it didn’t go so well for me. I didn’t expect fireworks or miracles to happen instantaneously, but I never connected with the pastor or anyone at the church. Whenever I attended I connected with words that resonated with me, but everything always felt rushed and money based. I went to another church and I felt the pastor made Sunday service into a comedy show 75% of the time.. my spirit started to fade. I almost lost hope and I said “ Jennifer give it one more chance & go to another church” & so I did. I found The Source Church less than a mile from my home and we took off. They made me feel like family! The love, compassion, empathy, positivity, calmness & spirit of the members made me feel right at home. The pastor & his wife made it their duty to know me and my story. I got baptized again with my new home and new family. My previous baptism felt like when you’re hungry you eat whatever even though you didn’t enjoy it, but this time it felt just right . Amen
