I had 3 years of soberity had a slip then just had 10 months of soberity and After having a relapse , the guilt and shame is so overwhelming and killing me im back on day 7

Don’t be so hard on yourself! Addiction is HARD and it doesn’t play fair at all! Someone posted a thing on here that said ‘Don’t be afraid to start over again, this time you’re not starting from scratch - you’re starting from experience’ and that spoke to me because I too have fallen back a few times and that is very true! You always learn something and start again with more wisdom and knowledge! Hang in there!
