I Had an amazing day. It was truly overwhelming in the best way!! The Recovery Walk and the rally were beautiful!
The amount of people in recovery that know me, in NA and through Advocates in Recovery, shocked me. It’s nice and I’m still processing it.
I got to hang out with a woman I’ve only seen online, we stuck together today. She’s wonderful and we are going to be good friends I believe. She’s in my virtual home group. That’s what’s so fun! Seeing people I normally only see online. It makes it special. I do zoom with NA and AFR.
I received some wonderful, much needed hugs. I walked over 13K steps. Which I haven’t done in at least a year. I am exhausted and ouchie but it’s okay. I am extremely grateful for this experience.
