I had just about 2 years of sobriety up until about a year ago and this last year I have drank about a dozen or so times where the drinking on at least two occasions turned into drunkenness and stupid mistakes. My life would be better off without alcohol but I feel so far removed from people who can drink and as if I am an outsider. I’m starting a 75 hard challenge tomorrow to kick the sobriety back into gear. Any thoughts or words of encouragement are much appreciated.
Stay strong. Keep busy. I just celebrated 3 years sober. And things really started to get better when I started living one day at a time. Totally easier said than done for sure. But when you break down your time like that, it's so much easier to stop thinking about the past and allow yourself to look forward to the future. You can do this. It took me a very long time to finally be able to jump in with both feet. Keep talking about how your feeling. Very important you don't hold in what you're feeling. We all carry our own burden's in life. But we absolutely do not need to do it alone. You'll be in my prayers
Eat some good food get some take a shower get some rest and tomorrow start your day off fresh and don't take your self to serious cause you wasn't judge back you were prayed back and for that reason you are one of the bless chosen ones"
This site has a pretty decent daily tracker called SAM which is also a good daily reminder to keep sober. Worth a look.
