I HATE my stomach

My stomach is so sensitive and maybe broken lol. If I don’t stay full then I’ll start feeling nauseous. Like if I don’t eat for hours I have a small window to eat and if I don’t I’ll start feeling super nauseous. It’s such an awful awful feeling. Sometimes I’ll try to make myself throw up (finger down my throat) and normally nothing comes up. Also, the feeling will go away if I lay down and curl over, scrunching up my tummy. I have to lay in a tight ball for the feeling to go away- and i’ll fall asleep and most of the time I wake up and I think it feels better and I’m hungry at this point so I’ll get up but then I start feeling gross again. This time feeling hot and cold too. I always try to eat bread or rice while I feel like this because they are easy on my tummy. I never know when my stomach will decide to feel better. Most of the time I feel icky and nauseous the rest of the day ( like 12 hours) and I just have to hope it will go away. Im pretty sure I have messed my stomach up with drugs. It was obviously worse when I was using but it still continues to haunt me will sober. Does anyone relate??

P.S~ When I was smoking weed 24/7 and I mean it. I had a wax pen (98% concentrated THC) I would hit it every hour. I would go through half a gram of a cart everyday, consistently. Im pretty certain I had cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS). Basically what this means is that your stomach lining cannot absorb THC anymore and so then since it cannot process the THC you feel nauseous because it’s just sitting in your stomach which now the THC is poisoning you. “Cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) is a condition caused by long-term cannabis (marijuana) use. People who have CHS experience reoccurring episodes of nausea, vomiting, dehydration and abdominal pain-Hyperemesis means severe vomiting.”( Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome: What Is It, Symptoms & Treatment ) ☜☜ check out this article it has lost of great information on CHS.
On my last bender, I was smoking blues which made me throw up all the time. I couldn’t hold any food down. So this also probably has messed with my stomach. Plus, when on benders I eat junk food, fast food and crâp while i’m high and then the next day when coming down my stomach rlly hurts.
Overall, I have been sober for almost 6 months now and still struggle with stomach problems/ nausea/ extreme vomiting. Again, can anyone relate?? Has anyone out there gone thru the same thing / struggling with the same issue?

When I feel awful feeling I say the serenity prayer and it work or the next best thing kicks in hope that was helpful .

thx but that will only go so far… like my stomach is broken. it doesn’t matter how much i pray i’ll still be nauseous in that moment…

Thank goodness you’re sober! I had a lot of gastro issues due to my addictions and stress. Most symptoms have cleared over time as I continue to stay sober. Sounds as if you may need to go see a gastroenterologist and/or nutritionist and get to the bottom of this. The human body is quite extraordinary. Stay sober, get some professional help, and I believe your stomach issues can improve dramatically
