I have a close friend that left the residential drug treatment program We we’re in and now I’m worried about her and this sadness and anger over her leaving are giving me very strong urges to use. If someone here could please pray for me or offer up some sound advice I would really appreciate it
Praying for you. Please focus on you And your recovery. We can’t save others. We can’t control other people places or things. Try to let go of the desire and let her walk her own path. I’ll pray for her also. Keep your chin up that you’re still doing the right thing.

Yup focus on you. Unfortunately most of the people you are in treatment with will not make it. Two of the six from my original small group died since treatment (two years ago). Another left early and relapsed the same day. Another kept in touch for a few weeks before he stopped contact. That’s two of us left out of the six and we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. You’ve got enough to worry about. Carry the message not the addict.
