I have a dear friend that just celebrated 27 years in recovery free from a drink pill or fix.
As a child she never had dreams, aspirations, hopes, nor intentions of becoming addicted to dope, pills or Alcohol, we all know where good intentions lead up.. at least for people like us.
In a way we are truly lucky to have ended up here living in the solution of recovery.
No matter what amount of time one might have/celebrating..
