I have been clean a year and almost 9 months does anyone still have using dreams?

Hi they come and go depending on if anything bothers me. But not as much as before. Grateful for sobriety.

Ya well my drug counselor close my file for no reason and I am only a year and half clean and the following two nights I had using dreams. I wasn't happy with this substitute counselor for my regular one.

Why did he close your file? They shouldn’t do that unless not following their recommendations. Get another one. No drug is worth dying for. Speak up if not happy with that person.

I did and she refuses service my other worker is helping get another one. Kelly who closed my file said after a year and half I met my goals. Is she insane.

I am still with my recovery team 4 + years. That sounds insane. Please you have all that amazing clean time don’t give up. Do you have a health department that you can reach out to? I may state you can continue as long as you need help.

Also reach out to a hospital. Have you been taking meds to help you.

Not really anymore. I’m the beginning it’s normal but eventually it subsides. Have in there!

I still need to talk about my trauma that led to my addiction issues. I am white knuckling it right now. Hopefully soon. I CAN Get another worker

Just a suggestion. Try taking turmeric supplements or using sleeping music to aid in your sleep.

Using dreams will come and go. It's actually pretty common. I know those who have 30+ years under their belt and still have a using dream now and then. Talk therapy is a good way to work through them.

I hate them. When a friend woke me up one night I screamed something at her something about getting the drugs away from me. I'd have to ask again what I said
