I have been sober for 2 years and 4 months..and my boyfriend who was sober for 7 years relapsed last week. I haven’t gone to a meeting since I was 4.5 months sober until last night to be supportive. I however think I need to make a support group incase I ever feel like I need to drink in a moment of weakness. I have 0 temptation to drink but put in a scenario like my boyfriend was and I’m not 100% confident I will decide on the right choice.

I know the feeling. I have gone back to meetings for support and I have a good chunk of time too. Even though I have zero cravings etc.

Okay glad to hear I’m not the only one feeling like this!
Good thinking. I recommend finding a women's group for home group and get a service commitment in it!
Thank you!
When I drift away from the program physically or mentally, I can feel my sobriety weaken. Even after a couple of years of sobriety, which I’m not saying is super long. Just saying. I don’t think I’ll ever not need it.
Thank you for sharing that! I don’t think I have drifted away from anything I just want to be prepared for a moment of weakness
