I have been sober for all most 7 years. I am 67 years old , I am physically in a lot of pain . The Doctors offer me life time supply of opioids . I turn them down , it suggested I try the new legal gummies, to relieve my leg pains . I guess this will wipe out my sobriety date . I would not be taking them for recreational purposes, just don’t what to do.

As long as you take any medication AS PRESCRIBED, you are not abusing it and it does not change your sobriety date.

I believe if I take something with the purpose of getting high then that would wipe out my sobriety date. If I take something to relieve pain (I think I would take CBD gummies that dont have THC) then my sobriety date would be intact. I think It's up to you how you deal with your chronic pain, what you take to try and alleviate it and your sobriety date.
