I have found that researching addition, relapse, triggers, and urges/cravings. Has helped me recognize my own in my past life/journey. It may not be for all, but with this information and knowledge, it has been great to help me in my new life and on my new journey. It also helped me more able to help ones around me who are struggling because some of us never change our routines or lives for the best. Sometimes, we need to cut people, places, situations, activities, and things out of our lives to free us from the chains of addiction. Rember first and foremost, you must be very selfish in your own journey or recovery. Dont bend for others because doing that can cause the chains to come back and snare you into a trap you unknowingly created. Sometimes yes its not our own fault that the chains rear their ugly links of relapse. Yet be strong and understand/remember you always have a choice. Take a second and ask yourself, what can my today self do to make my tomorrow self proud? Remember, I'm pulling for ya. We're all in this together!
