I have found that the process of discovering who I really am begins with knowing who I really don’t want to be!!
I hear that!
Agree!

Ditto!

That is IT right there
Outstanding post!!
Probably a silly question - but how did you figure out who you don’t want to be? Did you discover that based on past versions of yourself? I guess I’m just really, really lost.
I know I don’t want to be the person I was I don’t want to be an addict I don’t want to hurt my friends and family I want to be sober and be the best version of me and I know for 1000% I never want to be the cold hearted addict I was
I couldn’t agree more! In order to be the better person that I am today I had to be the less than ideal version of myself first. And the amazing thing is is that I don’t regret anything! All of the bad was exactly what it took for me to get here. And I could not be more grateful!!
I feel the same
