I heard in a meeting last night that we as alcoholics are so sick that the decision to get sober and live vs keep in our disease and perish is actually one of the hardest decisions of our lifetime. That hit me hard to remind me of the insanity of our malady. If you have one day or many years, you are truly a miracle and worth a good life of sobriety. Stay strong and don’t pick up no matter what. The miracle will happen.
