I joined after seeing a story on tv with the creator of loosid over the Christmas holiday. I've been sober since 6/27/11 after a lifetime of addiction. It wasn't easy but I've been able to go back to having fun being sober and I believe that is key. I think most of us started drinking and getting high to have fun and then it evolved into something else. Seek activities and situations that are just plain fun for you. I hope everyone on this app has the best 2022 they can have and I wish all of you the strength to persevere!

Hey there,
Always great meeting another fan of the band, I listen to more shows now, ( the internet is a beautiful thing!) than I did in the 70's when I was thoroughly invested in the drug and drink lifestyle. And they sound better than ever! I actually use the music to assist me in defining an enjoyable space for me at appropriate times and I feel more tuned in now than I did then. Peace on your journey.

Yeah man. The Relisten app is incredible. Thousands of shows spanning decades. All free. It’s a beautiful thing. I listen to shows I attended (or at least partied in the parking lots!) in the 80’s and 90’s. Back then it was the scene first, then the music. Now it’s the polar opposite.
Glad you made it to the other side.

Krazy part about that for New Years I had 23 attic laughing n enjoying them self so much and I end my comedy show with that , that night with the same Message how we still can have fun and not be high or drunk so instead of just worrying about my only one addiction To concentrate I just not doing anything at all no way no pills no weed even though I got a marijuana card no alcohol no notting n still enjoy my self I told my alcoholic friends I’ll get you you’re so miserable go get a drink n cack joke on them left n right
