I just cant stop
My record is 60 days....went to treatment, taking medication, i just cant stop. Hiding wine in my office and waiting for husband to go to bed so i can drink
Oh really wow..I just had to say you should do what makes you feel fine and that’s the biggest flex
Keep trying don't give up seems like you know you have a problem and you want to stop have you tried talking to a doctor to get on medicine that makes you sick when you drink
Can we be friends…if you don’t mind
@angela434777 You can go to treatment all day long, you can take all the medication known to man and yet nothing under the sun will stop you unless you stop yourself. It's called will power.
Just face it... You're allergic and addicted to alcohol. It's an obsession of the mind.
I would suggest you download the Everything AA app. In the app you will find the digital copy of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous or if you already have a hard back version. Either way read both the Doctors Opinion and Bills Story. When Reading it find the similarities and how it relates to your life.
You'll thank me later.
Angela, I’ve been there and done that. There is a solution.
I finally surrendered to the program of AA. I’m a real alcoholic and need help, a real a permanent solution.
I had to go ALL IN. Thank God I finally did.
It’s much easier than drinking, lying, sneaking, feeling like
and well you know.
- Meetings daily, prior to drinking.
- Step work. The 12 steps are key.
- Stop lying to everyone including myself. It’s never just 1 drink.
I’m here if you want to talk or have any questions
Today is the day to give in to a sober life. Reach out when you feel the need to drink. We are here to support you. You really can do this.
Congrats on doing 60 days and you can do it again and longer. Reaching out to others, who get it and connecting, is key. Don’t take that first drink! It will continue for days, months, years. Got to try to fight it. There’s online meetings all over the internet and platforms like this to reach out to others. I’ve done everything and had many relapses. I’m on 32 days now and I’m going for my 2 month chip. Don’t give up and don’t give in. I wish you the best.
