I just had a sonogram of my liver and I've been diagnosed with cirrhosis. I've been drinking my whole life. The last four years I've been basically sober with several mishaps. I realize now that I can never take a sip again. My life has probably been cut short. I'm besides myself with grief and shame and anger at myself. My daughter is having a baby in December and I'm just praying for as many more years as possible. I'm 56 year old woman.
