I just have over a week sober, and it’s definitely not my first time being a newcomer or having that pink cloud absent once I stop using, but I’m definitely struggling with past experiences and trauma that keeps popping up. I don’t have any plans to use today, I’ve gotten to the point where I know that will just make the emotions I’m feeling harder… not interested in putting that Bandaid on lol. I just don’t want to be feeling the way I am right now and sitting with my feelings is not something that has ever been easy for me, which is why I’ve relapsed so many times. I have a sober friend coming over later to hang out and talk and we’re gonna go to a CODA meeting, so I’m very grateful for that.
Just want some advice maybe on what to do when I’m feeling restless/ anxious?

I would love to go to the gym or exercise, I know it’s super helpful and definitely has been for me in the past :heart:
I’m at home with 3 broken ribs (one of the catalysts for getting sober again, I broke them about a week and a half ago while drinking) so I can’t move much unfortunately. I’ve been trying to do art or knitting to keep busy haha
