I just keep trying to clean up. I'm struggling so much with so many things. Especially when I seek help. Feeling down. I know I deserve a chance.

The hardest part is getting clean than everything gets easier day by day and positive things seem to just start falling in place

Shannon I was right where you are 34 days ago. It does get better. The Lucid community helped me a lot! I posted something about 6 days ago because I was starting to feel down again. The out pour of encouragement and love was incredible! You’ve got this! Don’t give up. Don’t future trip and take it one second at a time. If you’re not in a meeting then find somewhere where you can be of service. Even posting words of encouragement here for someone is service work.:hugs:

Don't let da enemy trick yu. Yur gonna b ok

I see ur sober curious… so I assume not sober/soberish… but sobriety isn’t all about just not using/drinking. Your life will change in sooo many ways and many of today’s problems will be gone in 2 months.

The struggle is real, and feeling down is pretty normal in early recovery. It's a process. I had a mental fog happening which took some time to lift. I hung on and did not use. Things slowly got better. They told me to be kind to myself. In our literature it says to "give yourself a break". I needed to hear that because I was beating myself pretty badly. Know this... You are doing the best thing you could possibly do, coming to recovery. I'm proud of you for showing up.

Dm me please so we can talk
