I've been through rehab many times. They are people that are going through the same thing. If it's 30 days inpatient, it gives you a complete break from the stresses of life and allows you to focus on your recovery. I hope you have a good support system. Very best wishes!

Dude I was super nervous but my rehab was kinda rad. I did a 3 month/90 day long haul. Granted I got lucky and got a room with only one "bunkie". You're gonna be in a women's place so you have to worry less about snoring than in a men's facility.
The food where I went was pretty good to downright delicious. I didn't have to cook or do dishes for 3 months. Chores are minimal. The people were cool. Some of the scariest looking, tattooed face vatos you ever saw were super friendly dudes. Of course there were a few annoying people but no biggie, you can just talk trash about them with your friends lol.
Overall it was a great experience. Nerves are totally normal but once you get settled in, I think you'll do great. So far, still sober for me! Yew!

Normal to be nervous, but just accept the help and do what you gotta do to get yourself better.

Great feedback and support from everyone who has already left you comments Luna,… So, I’m just gonna send you a full hearted “you got this” “stay strong” and don’t allow yourself to lose focus or stress over anyone else, you just stay aware of what you need to do for you to get healthy physically and emotionally and keep yourself positive and open to the good changes you’ll see within yourself throughout this process.
Lastly, surround yourself with the those you see reading there big book and truly serious about recovery. I was cool with pretty much everyone for the most part, but I made sure to surround myself with those who it was obvious recovery meant everything to them.
