I drank for two days this lapse. And my triggering was listening to everyone at my work talk about drinking everyday all day long. I had not been in that type of environment for a long time and it put that craving in me that I lost too

You must surrender this disease I have witnessed for myself a lot of losses of loved ones and friends or others. Being sick of being sick we need help and it is alright to get help and get straight go inpatient get the demon out of the blood system then from there I work on myself. Baby steps one foot in front of the other and rehabilitation is the key to start take care of you  and staying in touch with those that have your best interest at heart. Jobs will come and go you got the brains and the skills. When your temple is in order meaning oneself better without alcohol or drugs. Program does work you just got want the freedom of being clean and sober Thinking with a clear mind and body best feeling. Ever that I chase each new day.i love it and feels good

I had to change my job to get sober ...something better is coming your way you just need to believe it and stay on the path even when it's at its hardest

Thank you everyone for all the encouragement. I have started mental health and alcoholism therapy and am trying to get down to my core cause of why. I have also joined several sobriety groups

Are you getting clinical treatment? Just curious.

You still can have those 4 months just take 2 more weeks add it on to your original date

2 days usage is not that bad. Its great you were able to stop after 2 days is the way I look at it. You had almost a year and a half. Inpatient treatment is not really necessary in your situation. Definitely get involved in AA or a relapse prevention course, or find a peer support specialist. You are already on the path to correcting your lapse starting December 5th on your sobriety tracker.

Thank you. I’m doing outpatient therapy I’ve never done anytype of therapy for it so thought it was worth adding along with my meetings

Keep it up Brother!

Just keep going, we're all rooting for you.
