I just made my first call to try to do impatient treatment I'm scared but also happy at the same time any advise?
Keep moving in the right direction. If you’re still breathing and want to change it will get less difficult. BRAVO !! O2-28-2OO2 IF YOU’RE NOT DEAD GOD IS NOT DONE...Levi
When I was at the point where I’d had enough, I felt hopeless. I was convinced that nobody had ever felt like I did. And that I was beyond repair.
The voice of your addiction, the one that’s screaming at you telling you that you can do it yourself. That you’ve got it under control. That you’re not that bad because other people appear to be worse off than you are. That voice is a liar. You can do it. You’re ready. Recovery is possible as long as there’s a beat in your chest. Go get it!!
It’s a very scary feeling but it gets so much better so fast!!
When I was at that point I called on my own and just went. Was super scared but because I ready I didn't have a hard time. 5 day detox, 1 month rehab changed my life, less than year of being sober I bought my own home and started alittle family with my pup. You got this. I recommend just going in with an open mind. And let the staff help! With covid detox and rehabs are super understaffed thst was my biggest problem.
You'll be back to the real you in no time. Just work the program and hang in there!
