I just moved into a 2 bedroom apartment for supportive housing after completing my residential drug treatment program. I’m now one year sober and it definitely feels good. I do need some advice because my friend and roommate got high yesterday. I tried to be supportive and non judgmental but I feel like she’s putting me in a dangerous situation and I’m not sure how to handle it. I welcome any advice you can offer.

Hey Rosey, that's a tough situation. It all depends on your friend and where they are in recovery/ abstinence. If they want help give it any way you can just as you need/needed it.
BUT it is your SURVIVAL that's on the line here. You have to take care of yourself at all cost or you will go down with them. Unfortunately that is the truth of it. Reach out anytime. I will pray for it to work out

That isn’t a friend if they’re using already as soon as you move into a housing unit for sober people. Best to get them out and get another roommate who will honor sobriety. They will try to get you to use with them eventually. Selfish program this is. Without sobriety nothing else matters.

Whatever you place in front of your sobriety you are sure to lose. I believe this without exception.

You better get them out before you go down with them.. you have to take care of you..at all costs.. they sure don’t care about you and your sobriety..
