I feel the same way. I would show up just before meetings and then head straight for the door once the meeting was over. I still do this when I'm new to a meeting.

I made a decision to tell on myself. I said at a meeting "I'm an introvert and have difficulty meeting people." Immediately as I was continuing my share a hand was placed on my shoulder. After the meeting I was asked if zi want to grab a bite with a group of people. People said hello to me as I walked into the meeting and said goodbye as I left

I agree, pray to your Higher Power to have him put some people in your life. I still need to put in some work and can't be passive about it.

Totally understand. Love my home but it would be nice to get out more. Iā€™m always available to talk with or coffee :blush:

Hopefully you have a sponsor who can help
If not get to a meeting and make an effort.
Might not be your best choice but a temporary one would be better than none

Same girl!! Same. I feel so lonely now that I'm sober. .not that my addict people were my true friends but I was always surrounded by people when I was using.
