I just went to a friends house to hang out and when I arrived she asked if she could mix me a drink and showed me she’d bought 4 different kinds of NA mixers (Seedlip, Monday, and something else) because she wanted me to have a special drink too. I’m not exaggerating when I say I almost got teared up at her thoughtfulness 🥲 Sobriety really does show you who your truest friends are

I love it. I have a few friends of my own. They may not understand what we are going through but understand what we want in life. God bless them for being there for us.

That’s beautiful! Having a good support group is a must in recovery and in life of its self. Keep those who are good for you near and those who don’t serve you at arms length. I’ve learned to let go of those that are not on the same path as me. It hurts but I’m ok with it now. Thank you for sharing! I’m happy for you! Keep up the good work my friend

Aw that's so sweet! They really care about you and support you in this. And it's so true! The first time I got sober, I only had club friends and none of them reached out to me again after I left the scene. This time around, I have a small but close friend circle and they have all offered to spend time with me doing sober activities and it really touched my heart and made me feel like the luckiest person. I'm so glad you have friends like that too!
