I keep trying to quit on my own but it’s

I keep trying to quit on my own but it’s not working. I’ve been having a lot of health problems. The doctor thinks it’s congested heart failure. So I’m leaving for rehab Tuesday. I’m excited but also scared. I’m gonna miss my baby boys 15th birthday :pensive:

Good for you, admitting that you cannot do it on your own and going to rehab. I would suggest that you surrender to whatever their program is, and have a plan to immediately implement when you complete rehab. This can be the beginning of a wonderful new chapter in your life. The gift of recovery is for you first of all, but also for your son and your family. Your excitement is indicative that you really want sobriety. Willingness. I’m excited for you. May God bless you on your journey forward!

Getting clean & sober may keep you around for your son's 16th birthday.
