Hey there Daniel! Sounds like you’re doing meetings too. Maybe write down 2 or 3 things you have heard or shared in there or on zoom that make sense to you. Try to practice those or build them into your day. And keep connected with folks so you can keep asking questions. Remember, lots of folks are dealing with exactly the same thing you are or they have been there just like you. Things will become clearer. Just give it time. Easy Does It.

Yeah I need to try a different meeting then the one I been going to the people there are about there selves

I cant tell you what to do. But this go around i had to get out of my comfort zone because i dont know if i got another recovery left in me. Im bbeginning to put trust in other men and really found a sponsor that o click with. And im for once doing what my sponsor tells me because my way doesn’t work. His suggestions so far have been get numbers call other addicts build my network. And Share honestly. Honest sharing is pivotal

Thanks dude I I got to do something

Try a different meeting and try to go every day. When you were drinking, didn’t you try a bunch of different bars out before you ended up going to the bars you liked? That’s how it is with meetings. Some groups are going to suck and others are going to be really good. A $hitty group isn’t a reflection on the program. I will tell you that right now. AA is not a selfish program.

Not all meetings are great. There are a few I walked out of feeling worse. I’ve been trying to hit different ones to find the ones I get the most out of. Having a sponsor does help. I talk to mine every day and have started the step process with him. Good luck!!

Thank you for sharing where you at in your process because we cant recover alone plus you not alone it is so many of us that can identify with that emotion no matter they clean time. That is called living life on life term
