I live in New Orleans and am watching Hurricane Ida approaching. Please send prayers & positive thoughts to all of us who will be affected by this force of nature, especially the alcoholics & addicts whose sobriety is fragile, especially in these stressful situations.

I hope it gets much weaker before landfall. We endured Michael in 2018?as a five. I live in north fl. This place won’t be right in my lifetime. I pray for safety of all affected.

Thank you. My mom won't leave. I don't know why. She was affected several years ago with Hurricanes Betsy and Camille, and of course we lost everything & family members in Katrina. My PTSD from Katrina is through the roof.

This reminds me why I’m resisting buying property to close the Gulf or Atlantic. Sure is tempting but I’ll take our blizzards in Minnesota for now.
