I'm so sorry to hear that. If you want 2 chat I'm here. Loosing a parent is extremely difficult I lost my father at a young age. I'm also new here. Stay strong

I’m so sorry for your loss.. I went thru losing my momma 3/1/19 that’s when I relapsed on drugs after being clean for 14 years.. it was really hard on me.. I got busted and went to prison for 6 months..I was in jail 3 months waiting to go..then I went to a halfway house for 2 months.. all in all I was gone for 11 months.. and I was grieving all that time.. plus I had to have surgery right before I went to jail. It was one of the hardest times of my life.. but while I was locked up I got clean again.. I had to put my faith and trust in God.. otherwise I don’t think I would’ve made.. I’ve been home for 2 years and 2 months.. I’ve been clean for 3 years on the 31 of this month.. I know you think you can’t make it but you can.. praying helps me.. I go to AA and I go online to meetings on “in the rooms “ they have open meetings… it’s international.. just talk to people who are struggling too.. believe me you’re helping them as much as they’re helping you.. I’m here anytime.. stay strong

Sorry for your loss!! I am soon to lose my dad.. I am trying to play the video in my head over and over so I don't start drinking again when he does pass..also here to chat

So sorry to hear this . Lost my mom when I was young so I can empathize with the heart ache. I bet you make her really proud though. You can always reach out to me if you need a shoulder:

I'm sorry. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult that must be. My mom is the one person in my life that has always been there for me. I know that loss is inevitable in life, but that doesn't make it any easier. I just hope that when her time comes that I'm in a good headspace and strong enough, spirituality.
