I totally agree but these people in particular are super special to me! I wish I could take them all back home with me!

The people you get sober with with always have a special place in your heart for sure. And if you continue on this path you will connect with so many more wonderful people. I was laughing until I cried with a couple guys I didn’t even know 4 months ago tonight. Having pizza and working on the 4th step. God will put the right people in your path if you keep going in the right direction.

I agree with Kendall above. The people and places you get sober will always be special and you will feel comfortable there. It’s moving out into the real world where we need to find our own way. There are groups every where (get the AA meeting finder app). If you are lucky enough to live in an area with many options, check them all out, each one will be a bit different.

I found meetings like that when I was in Florida. I just left my rehab Friday and I’m not finding the same people i found there. The meetings are much bigger there and so many different personalities. I miss my rehab life. Lol
I got sober in Florida.you are right .there from all over the USA .and the world.big meetings .
