Are you keeping yourself busy?

Stay sober long enough you will have plenty of feelings

Your body may literally not know how to feel about it depending on your usage/drinking. Give it time to be free of whatever your toxin of choice is. Keep yourself busy and try to do things you enjoy aside from using/drinking. You'll slowly find more and more small things enjoyable that you had forgotten you liked during usage. Can be a cool journey but you may need some help if you get into withdrawals 🤷. There are places that make the detox as seamless as it can be but it ain't fun any way you slice it. Good luck. Holler if any questions. Been down that road quite a few times :call_me_hand:

All I do is work

What helped me was finding an AA group or Celebrate Recovery group to get started and support with your journey I hope it helps you Ashley.

Ashley, you shouldn’t know how to feel if you haven’t tried sobriety.
I suggest you get to a A.A. meeting. It saved my life. I see where you said you work too much to get to meetings. But let’s be honest, if you found time to drink then you can find time for meetings. But only if you want to stop drinking and have a different and better way of life.

Everything AA app has zoom meetings that are wonderful and around the clock. I've been working late every night too now summer is here but there is a meeting every hour I can attend zoom

It's all about one day at a time...staying sober sucks mentally but physically will make u feel a lot better ...it's a rough road but stay strong and keep pushing

I’m proud of you Ashley keep your head up we’ve got your back

Keep putting in work, im 8 days sober, from a 15 year addiction. Fight the good fight

Feel proud. The first couple days and weeks are the hardest because it so easy to just say f this I start tomorrow.
