I’m 2 days away from the 30 day mark I’m excited because I have never been sober this long in the last 16 years of my life it feels great being sober. My health is getting better, taking my medication as prescribed, I even quit smoking!!! Just need more sober friends…

Fantastic! That is a great motivator for you. Now here comes the tough question. How did you do it? Did you do it by shear will power or do you have some sort of a recovery program in place?

Be aware that addiction whether it be alcohol or other drugs is cunning baffling and powerful. It will sneak up on you and bite when you least expect it so be careful that you don't get on too big of a pink cloud with this milestone.

This is why in Alcoholics Anonymous we do it One Day At A Time.
