Thanks, I wanna work the steps . Can I not do that by myself?

It's better/easier with a sponsor I'd imagine. Just go to meetings for a bit and get comfortable there. Be open and honest. Share your story with people. Let it all happen organically, but definitely go often.

Definitely can but it’s easier with a sponsor

Not drinking and wanting that is the most important. All the other things in the program will fall where they are supposed to.

68 days is a wonderful thing and today you are a success. I would definitely get a sponsor asap and start going through the steps. The steps will give you the tools to change. It's imperative that we change our thinking cause that's where the true problem lies. I came into the rooms of AA because of my drinking problem. Today I don't have a drinking problem because I don't drink anymore. I have a major ME problem and going to a lot of step meetings and having a sponsor helps my change that ME problem on day at a time. Congratulations on your success.

Thanks Donnie.. have a great day!! It’s sunny here in GA✌️

I have no idea what these other people are talking about. You absolutely cannot work the steps by yourself. You need a sponsor to show you the way.

After 90 days without a sponsor you are required to go to 30 women's meetings in 30 days make tea and pass out kleenex.

All kiddng aside, to answer your question, You're OK for now but if you want to do things the right way and get the best results you should have a sponsor that really works the program and can take you through the steps.

You can usually find the best sponsors at big book and 12 and 12 discussion meetings.

And men should stick with men.
Women with women.
