I’m back to day 1. I ended my relationship with my alcoholic gf, and have asked my alcoholic “friends” to stop contacting me.

Enough is enough.

I need sober people in my life.

Choices need to be made at points in our lives. Sometimes hard, sometimes easy, but always look out for your best interests. The best choice you made was to start again. So it was a good one. We got you man.

What I did when I said was enough is enough was delete and block all those who I didn’t want in my life.

It hurts, but if you make a list beforehand of all the people you shouldn’t be around, it should be easy.

Good for you my man. I went through the same thing with friends AND family. I was super lonely at first. It was bad. But, in two weeks I'll have 3 years clean and sober! And that's only because I surrounded myself with loving people who support me 100% so keep it up. It's hard right now but things WILL get better. You are in my prayers
