July 1 I’m out of rehab with a few relapses, but I’m ready to live my life and find somebody new!

Lol thanks Zach, I went from thinking “you got mail” to junkies. Great.

I'd probably wait a while.

OK not to mention mostly fake profiles....

It’s been a long time man

Online dating is suuuch a crapshoot. You could get lucky & find someone decent but I’ve been at it for years & still just keep running into dumpster fires. Maybe I’m doing something wrong - who knows?? 38 this year & never been married. Sigh. Rant over.

Rant on! Im turning 37 in a few days. I need advice on how to date without drinking!

Care to elaborate?

Online dating is no more or less a "crapshoot" than meeting people in bars.

I blush, and when I’m in a situation when I’m flustered I turn red. I have spent the last ten years of avoiding situations and people to not feel that way.

I've found if I don't have a solid year first and my head on straight it's not a great idea to bring anyone else into my life. Either I'll attract another one of us and turn into codependents lol or a normie who wants to control and fix me.

I guess I’m lost, I’m looking for a companion on multi levels. But sorta am lost.

A vast majority of relapse stories I hear about involve people getting into relationships too quickly into recovery. Everybody’s path is different. Do what works for you. But I do think there is a reason people preach focusing on recovery for a year before pursuing relationships

It really is a crapshoot I've been at it for eight years myself few relationships but never worked out

Dumpster Fire would be a great name for a dating site. Or Crapshoot. Are you a licensing attorney ?
