Glad you made it back.
I take that things didn't get better for you when you picked up the first drink?

Lessons learned.

We have to learn to play the scene forward. If you pick up a drink, you may feel some relief for a very short period of time but sooner or later you will be right back where you are right now carrying around a lot of guilt like you're probably doing now realizing that you accomplished absolutely nothing.

Am I right?

I hope you're going to AA meetings and building a support group. You should get some phone numbers and start calling somebody everyday. And if you ever think about picking up a drink again the first thing you should do is react and call someone because if you don't you'll think yourself right into taking a drink.

I've been there and I've done that.
