I’m grateful for the air I breathe, knowing I get to take each breath with a clear mind. I’m grateful for going to sleep every night and waking up each morning clean, while making progress throughout each day. I’m thankful for my support system. I’m grateful for second chances, for believing in myself enough to give myself a chance. I’m thankful for my rehab family, both other patients and counselors that have become friends and family. And I’m most grateful for my children and getting to be their Mom.. the kind of Mom that they deserve and that I didn’t have.
